Visit Blackpool Winter TVC.

After the success of the summer campaign, I was invited back by Clearhead, Edison Media and Visit Blackpool to direct a new national TVC — this time capturing the town in its most magical season.

Winter in Blackpool has its own energy. The air is crisp, the lights brighter, and the sense of togetherness stronger. My goal was to show that the joy of Britain’s favourite seaside resort doesn’t end when summer fades — it simply transforms.

I wanted to play with contrast: the cool, coastal air against the warmth of the lights; the stillness of the sea framed by the movement of families, laughter, and life. Every shot was designed to feel cinematic yet grounded — celebrating the small, human moments that make Blackpool glow in winter.

From the famous Illuminations to the Winter Gardens and Tower Ballroom, we shot across the town to capture its unique festive character. The result is a vibrant, emotive 30-second film that celebrates light, warmth and wonder — reminding audiences that there’s nowhere quite like Blackpool when the nights draw in.
